Program Overview
This is the only course of its kind designed to integrate both surgical and non-surgical disciplines for approaching challenging clinical conditions involving nerve injury and disorders of the upper limb. The goal of the course is to explore the role of diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound guided procedures to address both pre-surgical and post-surgical complicated conditions. An interactive discussion of ultrasound as a methodology for nerve imaging and how the modality can assist the surgeon and non surgeon in pre op and postop planning. A significant amount of the content will address controversies in postop carpal tunnel release and cubital tunnel surgery.
